Quick controller question

For some reason, my controller will not sync to my wii. It worked yesterday but will not register at all today and I have tried to sync it but it will not work. What should I do?

alright. have your wii off. turn it on and hold down the red sync button on your wii for 20 seconds. then when it goes to the wii menu, try syncing again

they are a pain in the butt... once its synced though normally its not a problem again... i took my wiimotes over to my brother in laws for christmas since he finnally got a wii... i gave him his mii characters and such then come home and had to re sync everything to get it to work right again....
