Recording gameplay *HELP*

I want to be able to start recording my self playing games... Like I have seen people do on YouTube. How do I do it? Like how people record themselves playing pc games with out pointing a camera at the screen. PLEASE HELP THIS NOOBIE!

PC games you need a screen recorder like Camtaisa or FRAPS (if your computer can handle it)

Console.
Two good methods. One is via a PC card with video inputs (can be expensive) or via a DVD/Blu Ray recorder then into your computer and a decent editing program with disc capture

I know how to do on a computer but I am asking how do record for the wii. Is it the same answer for recording wii gameplay as it it for PC games?
