no way to use american games, even having wiichip ?

I personally have never even heard of WiiChip.. if you do some reaearch I'm sure that you'll be able to find out via Google if no-one else posts, though I'm sure you'll get some more replies :)

no disrespect the the OP, but why the f*** would you want to
buy a PAL Wii?

1. they're more expensive than either JAP or USA NTSC machines
2. the games release dates are crap as per the above
3. the games are also more expensive

stick to your own region console and if needs be, chip it an you will
probably be able to play "other" region games.

ok fair do's

but, how much is your trip going to cost you?
the PAL Wii is currently retailing over here (with Wii sports) for
the princely sum of £179.99

the only issue is finding one at that price on the high street.

as soon as they hit the shelves, the "limited" stock vanishes.

as ciper has mentioned, if you really must get hold of a Wii, why don't you
look online? surely eBay has NTSC (does Brasil use NTSC?) consoles for
less than $1000 even if it is second hand / pre-owned.

my Wii is pre-owned and i paid £238 for it with Wii sports and Zelda TP

seeing as the Wii doesn't appear to f*** up as easily as the 360, i wouldn't
hesitate buying another pre-owned one if i had too.
