Scientology?

lately my school has been filled with people talking about scientology.

and im starting to get VERY VERY curious about it.

Obiously, i have seen the south park episode making fun of scientology and it makes them sound like stupid idiots, but are they really??

well accoarding to south part

but....lately ive been scared as hell about this religion or as many call it a "cult" because friends keep showing me videos about how bad this religion is and im willing to show them here, but It may NOT be suitable for younger audiences as it has some graphic material

seems like that video gets its message across very well.


but hey, im not one to critisize the scientologist religion because its a free world and poeple in my mind are allowed to belive what ever they feel like, and if you notice their are alot of happy poeple who are scientologist and live rich fulfiling lives.

now in this thread my point isnt to insult scientology in any way shape or form because like i said i belive in freedom of speech , people can belive in what ever religious views they want.

I'm all for freedom of religion, but I from what I've seen Scientology is a bizarre and possibly dangerous cult. Apparently you're not supposed to learn about that Xenu crap until you reach "operating level 3" or something, and reaching higher levels basically entails handing a lot of money over to them (you know a religion stinks when only rich people are allowed to know the "truth"). Dare to criticize them publicly and you can bet they'll bring out the lawyers. Also, their hostility towards psychiatry is rather worrying.

Yep. There's no "truth" for you if you don't have the money to pay. Some Scientology groups such as the so-called "Free Zone" have tried to give this "truth" for free, and have come under legal pressure from the Church of Scientology for it, because the "truth" is copyrighted.

Could those followers be more annoying, seriously they just wouldn't stop asking the same question rather than answering his. Everytime he asked them a question, they would reply with the same question, "What Have You Done?" I believe that he should've asked them that question since they don't let him in nor do they just let him leave. Scientology is one seriously dangerous cult and I believe it has nothing good about and I'm not sure why those people adore it so much.

haha now at school we harrass eachother *in good cause of friendship* going up to them and just repetedly keep asking "what are you afraid of" and "what are your crimes" so on and so forth

seems as if the "what are your crimes" line is very popular among the scientology religion.

to be honest i dont know what it really means, i dont think it litterally means what they say, it must have some different meaning im not catching because other wise they wouldnt ask the same question over and over and over and over

Damn those Scientologists don't even bother to listen, instead they just like to ask the same question over and over. I'm guessing the reason they ask that question is because they got nothing else to say or ask.

Wow, they are REALLY intimidating!
I thinks some of these Scientologists are familiar with brain washing Techniques, I really don't like the way they keep saying i'm a criminal and keep saying i'm a wife beater or a murderer, i seriously will kill a person who press's all of this stuff on me!
They don't seem like nice people, and they actually really did make me feel like a criminal, just from watching the video, I give credit to those camera guys for keeping there cool like that and staying smart, because i couldn't, that would be punishment for me, i would not be able to tolerate all of that mouth full Bull sh*t!
