I think its an absolute shame that neither of these games are on the Virtual Console. There's hardly any Square/Enix games on the VC at all... Secret of Mana was one of the best RPG's for the SNES, and its sequel, Seiken Densetsu 3, would've sold very well had it seen an official release over here in the US. This is a good opportunity to right a wrong... People -STILL- want these games!

Yes everyone wants all of the great SNES RPG's on the Wii. The only thing they give us is Breath of Fire 2.

Seiken Densetsu 3 was freaking hard! I had to beat that game with codes. The boss battles drag on for hours. If any of you are wondering how SoM turned into the Legend of Mana game for the PS1, if you are wondering how these games became so hard and different, Seiken Densetsu 3 is the start.

Seiken densetsu 3 isn't that hard to beat if you know how to level up and class change your characters well. Magic never worked very well for me in that game

These are both Astounding games. Legend of Mana sucked in comparison...

Agreed, LoM was when the series veered off course.
The "build the map" aspect of LoM was kinda wierd.
And atleast SD3 still had Flammie, the white dragon.

And Secret of Mana 1 was even better than "Link to The Past"
In LtTP, you just walked around the land of Hyrule, which was
small compared to SoM's expansive world map, and instead of
JUST a sword you got a buttload of weapons and magic that
you could choose from and 3 characters to switch between.
