Sending messages and address book updates!

Is it just me or are these features extremely slow for everyone? I have added a friend to my address book, he added me, and I am unable to send him a message yet. Is it supposed to take a long time??

Have you tried turning your wii off and then on I think that helps but Im not sure

hmm let me try that now. could it just be the servers? im not quite sure if the messages are going through nintendo or what, but when i reply to emails and other friends it takes a VERY long time.

update: didnt help. wonder if the servers are swamped

not sure exactly but it takes awhile

It takes about 2-10 minutes for me to send a message between my Wii and my email. It's hardly IM speed, but it does alright for communication that can wait.

hey what are the abilities of the messaging...can u send pics, and do u just have to have sum1 friend code to send a message? I should be online soon (?)

Yea you can send pics and you need their friend code
