You have vitiligo by the soudns of it. My mother has it, I may well get it later in life, so far i'm alright though.

It's quite serious..I don't mean to scare you..but you need to read about it, and go to a doctor. Also, funghal infections sometimes make it seem like you have vitiligo..so you may well be free of it.

Make an appointment with the doctor.

Edit:
I just read your other post. Vitiligo has turned my mother's skin snowwhite, luckily, it's not on her face yet.
It's caused by the body thinking theres a virus or some sort of problem, when there is nothing wrong. Your own body begins to attack skin pigments etc, it's a little like lupus.
im not sure it is vitiligo because vitiligo turns you pale white. mine are more like........ white... but not pale white. ill see if i can post some pics. but as for going to the doctor, i havent gone. im jus thinking it will go away.

but its really embarissing especially since im in my high school swim team, im shirtless and you can notice the white spots because when i get tanned, the blotches dont get tanned so you can notice them right away :(

Do you mean white as in..hmm...the colour of paper?? Becayse that's how vitiligo goes, colour wise.
And keep the blotches out of the sun, if you're in the sun too long..they tend to blister.
no not paper white. heres a pic. NOT ME.

this is what i have. but the color is like.......one more shade dark. its really close to this white, but jus a lil bit darker

i heard there are other types of skin discoloration diseases.

I hate to tell you , that it will never go away. And it can only get worse. You may well wake up one morning completely covered in white.

I hate telling bad news :/

Gotta listen to DRMARIO, he knows his stuff I am afraid.

I'm still convinced it's vitiligo!

One good thing about vertigo suffers
WARNING MAY OFFEND (Like omgea forte)
That will never kill them selfs by jumping of a bridge/buliding

I know not many people are like this on Wiichat, but it really ticks me off about people with an illness say "Why me?" I say stop complaining and say "I could have it worse" or "Some people have it worse" Although I don't include some illnesses like HIV or Cancer. They have it really bad. And that's my point. I have a bad illness called Mitochondria disease. It really sucks as It affects my energy a lot, so i can't do any sports or I could wear out real bad and get sent to the hospital. I have to take over 25 pills a day. But I don't complain about it. I know it sucks, but I always think that it could be worse.

I think I might have Dupuytren's contracture. :( I tore a tendon in my wrist last March and I've been in the doctor multiple times, it took about three months of going to the doctor (actually three different ones, I first went to just a general doctor, then they sent me to a orthopedic specialist, who sent me to an orthopedic hand specialist) every other day before they actually figured out what was wrong with it by an MRI. Well, anyway, they put it in a cast for a while and it has been getting better, it is almost healed now, but I still can't lift anything or do anything that requires me to move it very much. So I'm supposed to exercise it every day by just kinda rotating my hand around. Well last night I was doing that and I found a lump at the base of my middle finger, which I had noticed before but always thought it was just a callus (sp?) or something and never really looked at it. So I looked at it a little closer, and noticed that it obviously wasn't a callus because it was a little too high to be one. It is just a little tender bone like bump. So I did a search on the internet, and most things seem to match Dupuytren's contracture.

√ European ancestors
√ Drinks

The websites I looked at said that it usually starts out as a small nodule in the palm or at the base of the small and ring fingers, but sometimes the middle finger.
