shortage of wii

Hi can any one help, just wanting to know if I buy a wii in the United States will I be able to play it in the United Kingdom and will U.K games work on it.

You can buy a US wii and yes it will work over here with the right adapter, the games however in the UK will not work on a US Wii, only US games.

No you can only play Uk games on Uk consoles and vise versa

I would just wait til you got back to the UK to get a wii.

Yes but his/her problem is most likely he/she wants it before Xmas but the UK has no Wii's available anywhere and when they do come in there is a huge waiting list to get one.
