*sigh* Wii error "Service not currently being offered"

First of all, hi

I bought myself a Wii. As I live in Poland, the Wii I bought is a UK version.
I succesfully configured my WiFi connection, and downloaded the latest updates.
But when I try to turn on the WiiConnect24 service, an error comes up:

WiiConnect and Wii Shop Channel are not currently being offered.

What can I do about it?

Hey, I have had a probllem ith my wii too. It freezes sometime when I am loading a game. then when I try to cut the power, it wont turn off!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT!!

But there's a 1/100 chance of my ISP giving me an IP address registered in France .
