Simple Racing Game

I'm going to have a racing competition and looking for a car racing game where you basically go for a fastest lap (not necessarily against anyone and could be a lap practice option on the game). Looking for the laps to be around 1min to 1min 30secs. Anyone out there know of a game that suits?

Just play Mario Kart. It's simple and fun, but at the same time it can get pretty competitive. You'll be pissed at your friends in no time!

You can always do GT Racing. I personally enjoy that game.
