SPLINTER CELL coop not working

Hey, I'm trying to play splinter cell on my wii, and can not select the 'co op' option from the main mission, my 2nd controller doesn't register...i've tried all the buttons on the 2nd...

anything I'm doing wrong? I should be able to play multiplayer with no problem, but I can't...

Well, is your controller synced? (I know it sounds silly and obvious)

If not, Open the battery part on the controller. You'll see a red dot.
But before that, look on your wii, and on the front, you'll see a little port looking thing to the left of your disc slot. Open that, press the red button, then press the red button on your wiimote. Wait a while, and it should sync.


But that's all I can offer.

thanks for the heads up, I've synced the wiimotes, and they both work on other games, but the coop menu option on splinter cell is grayed out and won't let me do anything...

thanks again...anyone have any other thoughts?

I should be able to play co op without beating the main game right? I figure that shouldn't be the case but you never know...
