Meh the movie was alright. Compared to the books the movies are ****, and I like the movies. Needless to say books are always better then their movie counterparts.

i've read the books before i watched the movies

Dude there is no way what you are saying is at all true ( I do respect your opinion though)

JRR Tolkein was a literary genius to say that is insulting, the books provide some much detail its incredible! He invented countless species created his own elven language. Read the Simallirian and then tell me the movies are better.

yeah i know he is a genious but the movie and books are awesome

i don't think that's insulting at all

i mean the movies are based on the books, i've found someparts were more enjoyable in the books(like the spider in the mountain but the movie was much better when it came to battles) however for the most part the movies kick-ass, it's like reading the book AND watching fighting scenes
