Standby mode

I keep my Wiiconnect on standyby but my wii always gets too hot can i turn my standby on then unplug the system?

How is this done?

May I ask how to disconnect (other than pulling the plug)? I just bought the console for my kids and I want it to be turned off when not in use.

go to the wii options....then go to wiiconnect24......

I have mine connected to Wiiconnect24 all the time. I haven't really checked to see if its hot or not. Could this lead to the console to overheat? Should i have the wiiconnect24 turned off some of the times?

hmm....no, mine has been on wiiconnect24 since the first day it came out. :lol:

mine gets warm but never hot and i have my wiiconnect on all the time
