Stero Mixer??

Well on my laptop i have in volume control and i tick the recording option it says Mono and stereo Mixer. Well on my desktop it doesn't have this it just has Rear Mic Microphone and Line IN

And considering i make videos ONLY on my desktop cause i can't even open windows movie maker on my laptop without crashing.....How can i get this or can i not??? I have been looking to see if u can download any but they just give me like instruction manuals for a item u would have to buy. So if anyone know how i can get a Stereo/Mono Mixer on my desktop please tell me
