Overall award show should be good, shame my boy Kanye isn't up there.

Thoughts: an aging Metallica, while nothing of their former selves, can still be better than all the other metal on the list. I think that says something about today's rock music. :|

And wait...In Rainbows was 2008?

It took SEVEN people to write Estelle's song "American Boy."
.....HAHAHAHAHAH.

And, let's just be brutally honest. The Jonas Brothers? Really?
As much as I've explicitly fantasized about the Jonas Brothers, THEIR MUSIC IS NO DICE. Them being nominated for Best New Artist stings. Lady Gaga or Sara Bareilles should be there.

...more thoughts/opinions/predictions to come

Alright, only picked a few

---------
Album Of The Year
(Award to the Artist(s) and to the Album Producer(s), Recording Engineer(s)/Mixer(s) & Mastering Engineer(s), if other than the artist.)

* Tha Carter III
Lil Wayne

No one has sold more albums then he did for this album. Do i like him as an artist? No but this album was on point

------------------
Song Of The Year

------------
Best Female Pop Vocal Performance
(For a solo vocal performance. Singles or Tracks only.)

* Love Song
Sara Bareilles

Brilliant song, wouldve gotten my vote for song of the year but 'Im Yours' is just a notch hirer. Again love Singer/Song writers.

-------------
Best Male Pop Vocal Performance
(For a solo vocal performance. Singles or Tracks only.)

* Closer
Ne-Yo

Key word here is 'pop' which is why Jason Mraz doesnt get my vote.
Also Neyo is just a genius when it comes to writing a hit. The man has wrote a hit record for almost everyone in the industry.

Agreed, there are people more deserving for new artist, I can't stand the Jonas Brothers but I have a strong feeling they will win that. Gaga winning it would be ok by me.
