According to Metacritic there are 342 games for the Wii. That is 56% of the games.

I feel de Blob should've been ranked higher. Amazing game. No More Heroes deserves that spot at #10. I still hate World Of Goo, it certainly shouldn't be #1 (IMO). Rock Band 2 FTW.

Please keep in mind that these are based on critic's score. No more and no less. There are games like Nights: Journey of Dreams, a game I love, is a game that really isn't appreciated by critics.

I buy and play a lot of Wii games but even I've only played half of those.

When you look at the line up presented that way it seems crazy that people complained about there being a lack of good games for the Wii in 2008. I think that part of the problem is that people look at all the shovelware scoring 3s and 4s which skews the perception of good games on Wii. They don't take into account that the shovelware is basically like extra games on the Wii (because it is cheaper to develop for the Wii it gets more releases on the whole than the other consoles do) and if you ignore the shovelware (as you should) then the Wii line up is actually pretty good.

Brawl and Mario Kart were highlights for me as well as No More Heroes.

Can't wait for 2009.

Mehhh, a lot of those games seem to be in the top list because there's lack of better games to replace them. You get down to #5 and it's already in the 80s, with #4 being a port.
