There was a show on the news tonight... That showed a montage of events of 2006 in the middle east, and it really disgusted me to see the blatant disrespect that forces such as America and Israel were showing towards other human beings; it simply goes to prove my hypothesis - that human beings really are a disgusting race.

My only conclusion to this matter is that we (as human beings) are not the rightful heirs to the throne of the Earth, there must be a higher race than us who will inherit the planet at some point. I think it'll be either:

Nature - Once humanity is wiped from the face of the Earth, the damage humanity has done to the planet will slowly revert back to normal, and nature will rule once again, or:

A race of supreme extra-terrestrials - I know it sounds far-fetched (and before you ask NO I have not been watching the X-Files lately), but I believe in them. I say supreme, not because they could obliterate us, but because they would be so much smarter, more compassionate, and far more intelligent than humanity could ever be. Should a race like them exist, they seem far more worthy of this wonderful planet than humanity ever could be.

How do you think the world will end, and when?

The world as a planet will end. It will be swallowed up by the sun.

Sony will dominate the world. Today, they serve people with electronics. Tomorrow, they serve people with a piece of nuclear pie! Nintendo will fall that their feet along with the rest of the world.

Maybe there will be one saviour, who rises from the light to defeat the evil lurking within the twilight...

That saviour...is me.

Well its in our nature to kill
Its also the norm now to be a arse

I think humanity is too adaptable, too intelligent, and too stubborn to allow itself to become extinct. Oh sure, it's practically inevitable there'll be some major disasters in the future (e.g. wars, epidemics, asteroid strikes, etc.), but natures shows us that the most well adapted species tend to survive.

Eventually though, in billions of years the Sun will run out of hydrogen and expand into a red giant, leaving the Earth inhospitable. So yes, one way or the other life on Earth is eventually going to end.

I don't understand your qualm with the Israeli forces? Elaborate.

You mean apart from blowing up half of Lebanon and Palestine, leaving thousands homeless, and blatant disregard for the conventions of war?

Someone needs a new news source.

I suppose you mean Fox News...

You should know I'm not some sort of socialist hippie. Believe it or not I actually supported the Iraq War. I just think that if Israel wants the world to treat it fairly, then it should show a bit of respect to its neighbours and stop acting with double standards. There's never going to peace if they can't do that. They build settlements on Palestinian land, use missiles to assassinate individuals, and it's the world's worst kept secret that they have nuclear weapons (before you question that, here's a slip of the tongue from Ehud Olmert himself: "Can you see that is the same level when you are aspiring to have a nuclear weapon as America, France, Israel and Russia?").

Does it all really matter? At some point Earth will be hit by a huge meteor and what we consider major problems now around the world will all be resolved in the blink of an eye.

takes my wii, television, food and water rations, and heads to my nuclear bomb shelter hidden covertly under my apartment. add me to your wii list if you survive the apocolypse and let me know when the radiation has dissapated and i can return to the surface-then ill add you and we can share miis of then-dead famous ppl! woohoo

There will be no power
So the wii and all elctronics will be useles

I'm not going to get into it here, but all I'll say is, you really don't seem to know what actually goes on internally there, or what has for the past almost 70 years. Everyone knows that Israel has nukes. They're freaking military technology geniuses. Palestinian land is land given up by the government to attempt to temporarily placate the crazy leaders of the terrorist organizations controlling arab residents of the Strip. If Lebanon wants respect, then it should cooperate better with the UN and Israel in attempting to disarm the Hezbollah, which has already rearmed to the point where it's as powerful as it was at the beginning of the skirmishes. Using civilians and populated areas as meatshields for Israeli retaliation hardly incriminates Israel as disrespectful tyrannical double-standard enforcers. Please.

Owch. I carried that on long >.<

I wonder if people will ever consider the deep ocean as a possible relocation option for mankind in the future. It's a freaking huge, hardly uncovered area which seems to be teeming with new kinds of life and ecosystems and whatnot. Those animals can adapt, technology should be able to too.
