That was a very interesting article. I agree that 2009 is a very important year for the Wii, Wii Motionplus can really boost the future success of the Wii. And at an MSRP of $24.99 (much less than the $69.99 that most analyst were predicting) it would be foolish not to buy it.
 
i thought the msrp was 19.99 with gamestop charging 24.99 (just like they did for zapper w/ links crossbow training)

This is pure crap.
 
It didn't really have anything new in that article. It just confirms what we already knew, developers were caught out by the Wii's success, that sloppy ports don't sell and games specifically designed for the Wii are a lot better (in some cases the best version on any platform e.g. PES, GH:WT, Shaun White).

With motion plus looming it could be a whole new revolution for the Wii and with titles like The Conduit, Red Steel 2 and Muramasa coming this year it looks like we'll have some quality 3rd party titles too.
