THQ announced today that those loveable penguins of Madagascar are set to reappear on the Wii with their latest adventure, entitled Dr. Blowhole Returns Again! Based on the hit Nickelodeon cartoon series, the game sees the fiendish dolphin villain, Dr. Blowhole, attempting to conquer the world, and this time around he intends to use the penguins to help him, against their will, of course! The all-new adventure features three episodes and more than 12 levels, with the action taking place in, under and outside of the zoo, and finishing up with the grand finale in Dr. Blowhole’s Lair.
Gameplay involves navigating hazards, solving puzzles, finding helpful items, building crazy contraptions, overcoming obstacles, and rescuing the penguins’ friends in your bid to save the world. Each penguin has unique abilities, which can be used in particular situations to help you solve the puzzles and get past the obstacles, such as using Rico to regurgitate explosives, getting Kowalski to build devices, or using Private to squeeze through tight spaces. There are also lots of fun mini-games to play as well, including Ninja Knock-Down, Mort Bowling, and a dance-off with King Julien the lemur!
Look for the game to hit stores on September 13, 2011.
