The Post-Game Thread (now with moar games!)

Ez and Blitz OP in lane. Silly Scotsman forgot to build even tier 1 boots and got a straight BT. I still went flawless. GO ME!

Ran into my first official scammer.

http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198050661080/

We agreed to trade unusuals. We put up both our hats and just as we are ready to trade, he cancels it. He says "steam froze". We decide to try again. This time he puts up a non-unusual version of his hat and thinks I wouldn't notice. I point out it's the wrong hat and he puts up the right one. As we are both ready to trade, he cancels again and says "steam froze". He then says "I'll pass" and disconnects and changes his name.

I change name and avatar. I add him and he wants to trade unusuals. He says "HURRY I HAVE TO LEAVE" and such. We put up unsuals and repeats the same scene this time saying things such as "HURRY" to make me rush. I keep it going one more time before he catches on and quickly disconnects and changes his name again. That time I managed to get his profile info and added a comment since I can only do that when the person is a "friend". Worth it.

Didn't manage to get screenshots unfortunately, but I did find the profile. You guys report him or something for me.

Edit: Some guy just added me and told me the same happened to him. Told him what to do since he was new.

I've never actually encountered a scammer. Then again it must be more common with unusual trades then with stranges. I'd find it hard to get scammed, i'm overly cautious when trading.

Well yeah. It didn't work, and I find it hard to believe anyone will fall for it. Unfortunately, I've seen plenty of players get scammed and/or complain about falling for something so obvious.

In my absence, I've finished AC:III's story and likely every notable mission. The single player is a simply fantastic game in all venues, no doubt. Blows AC:II outta Venice's water IMO.

... Ah, except every little bit of praise and love for the game I might express is COMPLETELY negated by the ****in' horrible amount of polish this game has. Glitches plague it like no game in the series; including many game-breaking ones. Even Bethesda would'a done better. There's no direction for what missions to take and when; free roam plot done poorly, in other words. If you can COMPLETELY avoid the two side plot lines in the game and advance the main all the way to and after the final mission, that's a ****in' problem. Utterly destroys story flow if ya ain't careful; which ya likely won't be on your first playthrough. At times it can hurt the game's involvement as well. Easy to trigger glitches which cause ya to fail an excruciatingly important plot-related mission to assassinate a Templar big-wig are downright unacceptable.

I exaggerate slightly on the single player though, the glitches for me were not that bad. Only one srsly srs important mission got interrupted by said glitch 'n irked me as such. I thoroughly enjoyed the single player. The multiplayer too actually, I've already prestiged.

'Course, the multiplayer is ten ****in' times more glitchy than the singleplayer. Most of the day, multiplayer is completely glitched. It's impossible to find a match, even if a hundred damn players are online searchin' as well. When the servers are workin' they get overloaded soon as there's only 40 lobbies goin' on. Since release 'till now, the servers overload as such and it takes an hour or two (or five) for Ubisoft t' reset the servers to fix everythin'. On top of all this bullshit glitching, there're still non-glitch issues I've with multiplayer.

Firstly, they took out game modes for no particular reason. Escort from Revelations is nowhere t' be found. One could say Wolfpack is to Escort as Domination is to Chest Capture, but no. Wolfpack (a shitty game mode either way) is cooperative play, not competitive against another team. Another issues is that the Smoke Bomb is still overpowered. Ya can still break through lag and stop kill animations with Smoke way too easily. They did kick up the reload on the ability, but with Overall Cooldowns and Crafting Smoke for cooldown, ya can still get it every 70 seconds. That's just-plain bullshit.

There're various other issues as well which are moreso what a large group of fans want than simply bein' issues, but the fact Ubisoft has ignored their fans on many requests certainly is an issue. Many competitive Brotherhood players for example, disliked quite a few changed made in Revelations' multiplayer. Their complaints have been entirely ignored by developers and the multiplayer is still somewhat n00b friendly (despite the fact that the game's learning curve is quite high; there's no damn point in it bein' scrub friendly). AC:III is a fantastic game which lacks polish (AND BUG TESTING). It don't deserve the high scores it's gettin' for this sole reason. Good job Ubisoft, a haphazard and unnecessarily rushed release resulted in your prized game gettin' ballsed the **** up.

TL;DR: Great game, not-so-great glitches. For shame Ubisoft...

I-... I'm sorry t' reveal this so abruptly Nick, but you 'n J ain't the only bros in my life. Been seein' someone else. Two actually...

... At the same time.

Somehow managed to get Xenogears working almost flawlessly on my phone.

On a ****in' phone? My god, I needs me a smart phone for some emulatin' fun.

Finished the Assassin's Creed III story
Pretty good storyline for an Assassin's Creed game

Story-wise that is to be expected. What's wrong with Revelations' other parts?

Brotherhood was indeed filler, but it made some important progress in both Desmond's and Ezio's stories. Ya can definitely feel the filler-nature of Revelations in both plot and even gameplay IMO. It does Ezio's character depth and story good, sure, but that's 'bout it (though I did like the Altair bits). 'Least the complete change of scenery from Italy to Constantinople was nice. That aside, t'was a thoroughly unnecessary game and in comparison to the entire series, doesn't deserve the price point it was sold at ($60)... Well, when reviewing the game based on single player alone anywho.

Though I don't recall many glitches in Revelations, ain't sure where RJ got that from.

Even Bethesda would'a done better.
Oh, I'm sure that's an exaggeration. AC3 at least has the excuse that they rushed for the holiday seasons. Bethesda always has that problem regardless of time.

It was one of the cheapest smartphones available, albeit a newly released one. Even the sound glitches have almost completely disappeared. I would never imagine it was capable of running PSX games. It's awesome.

This PC runs faster, but seems t' be slightly less powerful... Can't play Warband without lag. sadfaec

For the multiplayer, I'm inclined t' say it isn't an exaggeration. 'Less there's an example of a Bethesda multiplayer game t' prove me wrong with, 'course.

In terms of gameplay, the Conduit without a doubt. In terms of glitch severity, AC:III without a doubt.

I'm just spewin' bullshit though, I don't know **** 'bout the Conduit lawl.

Multiplayer doesn't work for literally half the day, for no apparent reason. Not from server overload, not 'cause of technical difficulties.

Pressing the home menu in single player works fine, but disconnects you in multiplayer while also putting you in "limited mode" (means ya can't play online). Even if ya reconnect and limited mode turns off, you're typically unable to play for a few hours if not a full day.

While on the topic'a slandering Ubisoft's latest release, Ubisoft forget t' turn on multiplayer in some areas of the Middle East (India in particular I recall) for a month or so. Ubisoft really ****ed up the multiplayer, pre- and post-release.

I've found the WiiU internet connectivity to be VERY crappy. I cannot make more than 1 post in MiiVerse without having to reboot. I can view all the posts I want (usually. Sometimes not) but if I try and makre more than one, it times out. With ZombiU, it will disconnect all the time and I never get to see any of the community content like grafiti or other players zombies

I wouldn't know 'bout the Wii U's online capabilities since AC:III is the only online game I've played so far, but the problems AC:III's multiplayer has ain't 'cause of the console. 360 and 'specially PS3 suffer with the same glitches.

Did Dishonored and The Last Story have a past relationship? Srsly. They share some similar terms and plot points.
