The Sims 2 : Castaway saving dilema

I recieved my Sims2 castaway in the post yesterday morning, and stupidly let my boyfriend play it first. He spent 7 hours getting skill ups, items, getting to different islands etc.
This morning, I go on to have a go and find out only one game can be saved on the wii system memory =(

Is there any way around this?
