I have reason to believe, weather it be from that blasted cat from the Wii menus, or something I saw somewhere, I forget...That the wii has video playback support from an SD card. If it does, I'd like to know what formats are supported, and what encoders as well.

Well since the browser sucks I can't stream video over my network and since the format's so limited since it's not SDHC compliant, it seems like the wii wasn't the best choice. Oh well, atleast I got it half-price.

It is motion JPEG format not regular QuickTime mov. There are non SDHC 4GB card by Transcend that should be compatible with Wii. Streaming is okay with TVersity, but it is actually worse than playing from the SD.
