    A few solid questions:

    1. ABOUT how many mini games dose mario party 8 have?

    2. As far as one player story mode gose how is party 8 comparing to other mario party games. Can you unlock places, minigames, characters, and ect?

Well, I'd like to start off by saying they are both excellent multiplayer mini-games. Both are great for a party. I'm sure you'd be happy with both. I'll give you some ideas of which one you might want to choose:

    MP 8
    - The 8th in the series of a very sucsesful franchise.
    - Features Nintendo characters from Mushroom Kingdom.
    - Amazing creativity and gameplay.

    WW: SM
    - Features Wario and Miis
    - Over 200 mini-games
    - Excellent use of the Wii Remote.

Out of both, I would say MP 8 but it's up to you really.

Mario Party has less games but they are longer and Smooth Moves has more small mini-games.

Wario Ware also only used 1 remote at a time, though the passing system is suficient. If you have 2 remotes I'd get Smooth Moves and if you have 4 remotes I'd get Mario Party.

I would go with Wario Ware Smooth Moves unless you plan on having people over frequently. Also instead of double posting I suggest on editing your previous posts.

i like both games a lot... smooth moves is fun, but the mini-games are very short and get repetitive. i never really tried to beat it or anything, i just played it at a friend's house a lot. it's really neat... playing the game feels a little psychedelic.

mario party 8 is great too. i like the mini-games better... i'm not sure how many there are, but i heard somewhere it was around 80 or so. the mini-games aren't as short, so i think this game has a lot more re-play value. mario party games are great multiplayer... so if you're going to be playing with friends, i'd tell you to pick this game. different boards have different methods of getting stars and stuff, so it takes away some of the repetition that so many mini-game titles have. it also takes a while to unlock everything, so that keeps it fun, too.

    that's my opinion.
