Water temple big key

I'm stuck in the room with the big key, there is a hole in the roof but my clawshot cant reach it and i cant manage to get up to it, there isn't a clawshot thing aswell. How did you do it?

i think you swim out of that room and theres a passage above it, you swim through, hooksho on the thing and go down
