Although, I wouldn't say effects on the economy don't matter, since a game company without profit is one without as many great games. I'd say in specific it's effect on the economy doesn't matter to me personally.

If you truly believed in the importance of the industry, you'd care. Skyward Sword wouldn't be here if the industry didn't love Zelda.

Its not the industry that buys the games.
Its the people and Zelda is the peoples champ, other games are just Roody poos

This industry is made of people who obviously care about games and money. In a way, we are the gaming industry.

the guy that made the Specodore 64 was offered cash for it (one of a kind and all) and turned it down.
Not talking triple figures. talking four.
Theres also a lot of smaller developers that dont.
And there out put is better than most pay for games. (Looking in the direction of EA mostly)

Best console is the SNES followed by the N64 afterwards would be DreamCast..ermm..okay I lied N64 and DreamCast would have to be tied
BUT the SNES is definitely first..so WHOO!
