We are new to the forum and need help.

We were living in the UK and bought a wii which we expected not to have regions the way dvds do.

Have moved back to the US (somewhat permanently, always possible change in the future) and are ready to buy some new games.

Son bought a new game recently, before we told him we suspected there were region codes.

Is there a way to unlock the region codes on our wii so that we may play both US AND UK games?

Please help.

did a quick search for ya ... there's a product called DATEL FREELOADER that might help with your problem, but i know almost nothing about it.

well that product might work but isnt it easier to just buy new games? if its the same wii your records dont change
