Were most problems/defects that people are having with Wii's from launch consoles?

I'm just curious, because i'm a little nervous about getting one after reading the sticky http://www.wiichat.com/nintendo-wii-hardware/5520-faulty-wii-hardware-issues.html . Would you say that most Wii's that had problems were launch consoles?

Rewording: Would you say that most people in the thread i just said got theirs around or near launch, and would you say that they're fine now?

i bought wii one launch day but mine is working fine

only that it kinda lose sync with wii mote but it is fine

i bought a wii release date and the only problem i had was something to do corrupted files.. But then i read the manual and it said you have to format the memory and that fixed the problem.. never had a problem since

oh but u got to do that before you save otherwise all your saved data will be lost

Yeah, sometimes the WiiMote will go out of sync (fortunately for me, this only happens in the main Wii Menu) at random times, OCCASIONALLY. Of course, this may be a natural error that happens with every Wii. It doesn't really mean anything, so just keep on playing Zelda and Rayman in your PJs, you don't have any reason to take any sort of action (namely, getting a replacement Wii) beyond swinging your WiiMote at virtual spiders.

Remember that sunlight effects your sensor too
