What controller on Resident Evil Zero for Gamecube

I bought Resident Evil Zero used for Game Cube. I popped it in my Wii and when it gets to the part asking for a memory card, I can't even move the arrow. Do need a game cube controller for this game or the classic controller?

For gamecube games you need the gamecube controller. Classic controller only works for VC games. Hope that helps.
