Well I'm really bored waiting around to go to my next lesson and this question just popped into my mind.

I had a feeling this has been asked already but I did look around and couldn't find it. Plus, if it's already been asked it was a long time a go.

So my question is what do you want to do when you leave school? What are your plans? University etc..?

Don't flame me if this has been asked ¬_¬

Just about to finish my University Entrace Exams (end this week). Then if all goes to plan study combined course of Engineering/Science at the University of Western Australia starting early next year. After I've completed that hopefully I'll be employable as a Chemical Engineer. What about you Rach?

I'm three classes away from being a English teacher.
shouldn't it be "an English teacher", it sounds better, but your the English teacher, not me.

I'm learning to be a tattoo artist

Woah Eagles, that sounds.. really clever lol!

And Wii > You that explains the thread, best of luck :)

I'm studying Photography, Film and Media right now in college and I'm in my last year. I decided not to go to University mainly because I'd rather go straight into the photography business rather then spend another three years learning 'how to take a picture'. I see photography as something that's inside you, you can teach someone how to use a camera, but you can't teach them how to take a good picture, that's my theory anyway.

Luckily there's a lot of studios in my area so I'm going to try and get a job there to gain some experience. I'm also thinking about travelling and taking specialist holidays in wildlife photography tours, but I'd need money for this so it will probably be after around a year of working.

In a couple of years there's new film studios opening REALLY close to where I live. The project is being developed by the consortium Dragon International Studios, chaired by Sir Richard Attenborough :) Hopefully by then I'll have enough experience to get a job there.

I'm not quite sure what type of photography I'll be doing yet but I'm not too keen on being stuck inside a studio every day and I've always loved the wild, so I'm looking into wildlife photography. :)

Well i went to school for graphic design and animation, but when i finished school it was EXTREMLY hard finding a job here in NY in that field, so i became an accountant....but my friends and I still have own lil thing that we do for corporations, like making there logos and editing there websites and lil simple things....trying to launch our own company, it pretty tough.

I'm taking college classes in High School so that I get a head start. I'll be attending Miami U starting 2010, and I'm not really sure what I'm going to major in, perhaps some kind of engineering. Anyway, after that I'm going to attempt to become a professional bodybuilder (Local competitions, no World's Strongest Man or anything ), but if that doesn't work I suppose I'll just get a boring day job.

Now I'm depressed, lol.

Sounds good, man. By the way, I'm a huge pro-wrestling fan... not the WWE though.

You know, I have no idea!

I'm in my second year of University doing a degree in Mathematics, and I'll probably do the fourth year to get the Masters, if I feel I can do it, then I'd even consider doing another three years to get the PhD, just for the sake of not getting a job because I don't know what I want to be! But yeah, hopefully something will come up.

Damn, math is a hell of a subject, yet it offers a lot.

You'll have no trouble finding a job. Find a passion. Use it with your degree.

i finished high school in 2006. it was rough. i had problems all through high school with medication for depression, anxiety attacks, family junk and migraines. i took a year off and went to poland, my mothers homeland, with my grandmother. it was the last time she will be able to visit her homeland. we stayed for three months.

i'm back now and i've applied to 3 university courses. just today i recieved the 3rd reply letter - all have been positive and invited me to an interview.

i had my heart set on teaching and had second thoughts. i'm going into advertising. my friends say i'm selling my soul from the inside. others think i'm planning to take down the machine from the inside.

heh.

I am currently studying at University, so I hope to finish my three years there, continue to do a Postgraduate degree and finally a PhD. In terms of a career, I am looking at becoming a Genetic Engineer. :)

I'm studying graphic design two more years to go...
