When is too old.............

Depends how long you stay interested.

The main reason that many old people don't play video games is because they are a fairly new thing and oldies didn't play them in their youth.

I'm sure most of the people on the forums will keep gaming their whole lives

Tbh the wii is focused at a lower age really, im 15, but i think 21+ is too old, but not all people think like me

[sarcasm] i think if youre between 0-14 you should play wii but after that you should get a real man's system. also, if you are from like 60+ you can also play wii. anywhere in between you need a ps3 or 360, the true next-gen systems[/sarcasm]

I think the old saying that video games are for kids is absolutely idiotic and outdated. Usually people who say such things are too insecure to know what they really want in life.

I will always play games and find ways to maintain my gaming. Feeling guilty about gaming as an older person is basically telling yourself you're not worthy of fun in video game form. Personally I don't know about you, but I think I'm worthy.

So yeah I really doubt I'll ever stop playing games, and if I do it won't be my choice exactly.

I'm kinda glad insecure people won't be associated with my hobby.

Hah, what do you think happens? We suddenly just get old and say "gee, I'm going to stop playing video games?" Or we just die? What do you think happens at 21 that would cause us to stop playing? Like mid-life crisis? haha

Look, I've been playing video games since I used to program casino games, Hunt the Wumpus, and Castle Siege into my TRS-80 tape drive in 1979. I was 5 years old.

Lessee...when I was 15 the hot system was the NES and the Genesis, TG-16, and Neo-Geo (if you were rich: $600 system). I had a NES and a Genesis.

There's no such thing as "too old": my generation was raised on Video Games- we're the ones making games for you kiddos now, and for our families, and ourselves.

Too old for me will be death. That's right, only death or a coma can take me away from games. I don't care if I become 100% senile at age 101, and fall asleep every 15 mins. I'll still play games, even if it's button mashing.

you're never too old and it's never too late to get started

I think in the future generation there will be two types of video gaming :

A.) The regular ol' gamepad controllers
b.) Virtual Reality gaming (might limit older people to play and old gamers might go back to the "regular ol gamepad controllers'
