Where/when to buy?

I've seen several topics about this general question, but the answers seem to be pretty contradictory. I'm hoping to find a more definitive answer.

I didn't reserve a copy of brawl, and I'd rather not have it shipped here because the university mail is ridiculously slow. Will I be able to buy it Sunday? Where would I have the best chance of finding a copy? And what time? I've heard some people say that it won't be available until the afternoon, which doesn't make any sense.

You should be able to purchase it sunday normally, try toys r us or gamestop, they should have it still.

all stores got shipments for the pre orders AND extra copies for retail so if you get there early you can snag one.

Yea pretty much anywhere cause places that have pre-orders should have some retail copies and the places that didn't take pre-orders will have alot of copies so just go anywhere that sells games really. Good luck!
