WiFi explanation/info/dilemma

Um, I asked my parents about WiFi. I need to know how much it costs, how it works, and I have another dilemma: my parents said we could enable WiFi IF I gave up my regular internet access. Those of you with WiFi, is it worth it?

it costs nothing to peeps with broadband and it's easy to do. basicly u get to play games online on ur wii, surf the net on ur wii and get loads of new channels on ur wii. so, it's all good.

WiFi uses you're internet connection. I suggest you get Netgear router and not Linksys or anything. Well, just get anything other than Linksys.

Yeah, you know, that computer stuff sounds like Portuguese to me. :shocked: But I'll keep that in mind.

Go to ebay. They got Netgear routers as cheap as $20.

Hmm, I've installed Linksys routers in hundreds of clients offices and home and never had a problem. Mostly I stick with the WRT54G, so that may be where other's have had issues.
