what if the wii had an arcade channel. i wonder if i can start a petition or post to get as many posts' we can get and maybe just maybe we could see a arcade channel on the next wii (hint,hint).

Well, this thread got a bit weird, but regardless of that, it turns out Nintendo just announced actual arcade games being added to the Virtual Console starting today.

Space Harrier sounds pretty sweet. Most home ports sounded god awful so I never picked them up.
