wii blue light slot?

when my wii is turned on wiiconnect 24 and it recieves a message or something, how long will the blue light stay on?
cuz i dont want to get a message in the middle of the night then have the light blinking all night and burn out

It's an LED...it'll take YEARS of constant light to burn out.

It will typically stay on until you read the message.

Yeah, it stays on until you open the message or turn the console on itself.

I have been known to get a message in the middle of the night from a few members on here :lol:..as well as Nintendo.
