Wii Christmas Gift

I heard about how nintendo was releasing a "Christmas Present" for the wii. What was it? Can I still get it or is it over? And I did search!

It was a few virtual console titles. Seeing as I cannot connect to the internet with the wii it doesnt really matter to me. I heard there was a mario or zelda game for it though.
