Wii Connection Speed Help

The Facts: I have DSL. I have 3000kb/s download speed LAN but I am using a wireless connection for my wii that only gets 384kb/s download speed. I have Green status connection speed access point on Wii Internet Menu.

The Questions: How can I find out what speed i need to play games online like Madden 08. Is there a way to relay the signal or do anything to strengthen the signal to my wii. I really dont want to run an ethernet cord through my entire house.

As long as you have internet, you can play basicly.

I had internet that was about 300 kb/s (now i have faster). But I used that to play Halo 2 online when I had my xbox. And I barley lagged.

Ya, I used to play Live with dialup. :yikes: And the internet is always slower on the Wii for some reason. I can do a speed test on one of my computers and get 14000KB/s then go do the same test on my Wii and only get 400KB/s.

I don't want to lag and have everyone hate me either though. Also what about that Green Light Status. Does that mean I have a fast enough connection to play? And is there a way to strengthen the signal if I wanted to just make sure?
