Wii europe to us online play

Ok so first of all ive searched over and over all ive found is "can US games be played on an europe wii?" which i don't care about ...what i want to ask you guys is IF i buy my wii from US and im from europe ..and i have US games and everything ..can i play online with my US friends? and will there be great delay or anything like that? any info regarding this would be of big help, thanks in advance.

If you have an American wii, then yes you can play US games on it, even if you are from Europe. There would probably be major lag if you were playing US friends all the way over in Europe.
