Stars catalogue updated on new website www.nintendo-europe.com. 4000 stars for 1000 wii points- bit steep, but better than nothing. Sorry if this topic has already been posted- couldnt see anything.

That is steep! I would have said a 1:1 ratio would have been much fairer, given that it takes 16 games just to accumulate that many Star Points (my combined Wii/Gamecube collection barely reaches 4000 Star Points, and I haven't spent any yet!).

Luckily i had quite a few stars- just downloaded lylat wars, and liekly to get mario kart 64 or another N64 game soon. Looking at the rest of the stars catalogue, everything else seems more expensive than expected too. A DS accessory type pack is 5000 stars- a couple of years ago i got a Gamecube game on the catalogue for just 4500 stars!

In UK, 2000 wii points is £14- so you're basically paying 8000 stars for £14. That's 4000 for an N64 game.

    N64 game= 4000 points
    GC game= 4500 points

    Hmm...

Deleting stuff doesn't work for me, I still get the same "Coming Back Soon" message. I'll try opening it in Internet Explorer since I'm using Firefox.

    EDIT: It still doesn't work...

    It's not going to happen.

They do it to compensate us lot for having to pay more for our games

I also have just over 8000 stars, a nice tidy number for Wii points exchange  It's a welcome service.

Several months ago they sent out an email to people about new terms and conditions, and that anyone who did not accept them by a certain date would lose their account and any stars etc. So if you havnt been on the site for months, and didnt get that email. (maybe registered an old unused email, or simply didnt recieve it) then bad luck you may have lost it all :(

Yeah, I agreed to that. My account works now. Turns out your e-mail address is case-sensitive. Who came up with that idea?! Hooray for 8100 Stars! Now I need a Black Wii...

Wow, that is a massive difference in the conversion. I really wasn't expecting anything like that at all. Thanks for the update.

Well I've redeemed 2 cards of 300 points (no higher denominations left, apparently), so now with the 400 I already had that's 1000. I think I'll save them. It looks like you can only buy two cards a day too, so I'm waiting on another 300 points.

Typical Nintendo- nice idea, silly implementation.
