Wii...Friends?

Ok...Now this is no usual Wii friend question. is got some meaning, and i need an answer.

There is no online gamaing for the wii YET. So whats the point of having wii friends? i mean, you cant play with them...can you?

I used search...no answers. so dont come bearing fists while screaming "SEARCH" at me please.

If you have friends on your list then you can message them and give each other your miis. Also when online gaming does come youll have friends to play with.
