Wii from Europe in US

Will a Wii purchased in Europe work in North America, with a North American TV and Wii Games? If so, are there any special considerations?

it will work but you cant purchase games from america
becaus ehtey run on ntsc unlike europe which runs on PAL
YOu would also need an adapter for the socket
