Wii gun and rail games

I was wondering guys, will all the games that use the wii guns be rail-based?

That actually depends on the developers, but I am sure that there will be some variety to the games released in the future.

RE Umbrella Chronicles is on rails and MOH Heroes 2 has the on rails extra option.

Also theres Ghost Squad which has support for up to 4 players (or 2 players using 2 guns).

There are plenty of non rail shooters out or coming soon though like Metroid Prime 3, Call of Duty, MOH Vanguard, Red Steel, Red Steel 2 and MOH Heroes 2.

It's hard to say if the control scheme in those games would work well with the Wii Zapper. For example, playing Metroid Prime 3 with the Zapper would be nearly impossible.

Ghost squad, Umbrella Chronicles and MOHH2 are the only games that have on rail game play announced, ironically they are the only ones which have been announced for the wii zapper, excluding links crossbow training.

MOHH2 can be played on a on rails arcade or a normal campeign or a normal online.

Ghost squad can be played on rails, co-op on rails, online co-op.

UC can be on rails, on rails co-op.

I doubt it. MOHH2 has a nonrail mode as well. And 32 man online.
