Wii Internet Help

hi this is my first post so please be kind.

basicaly my situation at the moment is that my wii and one of my computers is downstairs and my modem (that is linked to both my families computers with ethernet and usb) is upstairs.

what would you recomend i do should I...
A) use wifi and plug it into the downstairs computer (aprox cost $70-80)
B) use a lan connection from my wii and run a cable through the wall where my downstairs computer runs its cable and use a double adapter on my modem and run it that way (aprox cost $55-65)
C) buy a new wierless modem (aprox cost $250-280)

which would u recomend for best proformance in my situation

What wireless router are you talking about that costs over 200 dollars!? And are you seriously telling us that you're considering buying it for a videogame system? Kinda excessive if you ask me. It was hard enough forking out $50 dollars for my Wireless Router. Now I have to set it up and everything.

Go and get the Linksys WRT54G wireless router. I got it for $95 and works like a charm with the wii, and also with my laptop.

any router will work fine.. i got my D-Link at zipzoomfly.com (by far the best site on the web) for about 35 bucks after a rebate.. can't go wrong with any big name ones like linksys, dlink, netgear..
