I left a game disc in my Wii...:yikes:
Now the Wii won't eject or display a picture, the controllers only turn the console on but do not turn it off or interact once its on.

I've done everything, reconnected and reset, unplugged and set up inputs.
I called nintendo, the recording suggests their website, as it was after hours, the website doesn't mention much help.

Failure to eject
Failure to load/display on screen
Falure to communicate with wiimote

Let me know if you have any advice, thanks.

lol didnt know it was bad to leave disks in the wii, i always leave my gamedisk in the wii when i turn it off, the only time i take it out is to replace it with another game

Yeah your system bricked.
Call Nintendo Support and they'll most likely send you a new one.
I've heard about this. I frequently leave my discs in the system too.
I'm sure if you didn't want to wait you could take it back to wherever you got it from and get a replacement or a return.
Most places accept replacements without a reciept if you don't have it anymore.
I know Walmart and Toys R Us do for sure.

Yah so it started working again this morning, somehow. I have no clue.
Random.
The disc drive light doesnt stay on anymore tho, just flickers on load/eject.

Not bricked, just fricked.:hand:

i would still try to replace it cuz it might work for a week then go off again so might as well replace it today and get it back sooner...

The light is never supposed to stay on unless you have mail or an update I thought mine was broken too
