wii remote malfunctioning-HELP!!1

Our wii remotes had a range of about 15 feet from the tv and for some reason the range has been cut in half to about 8 feet from the 50 inch tv! We have not done or changes anything from the initial setup-does anyone know why this would happen and what to do

it it better to put the motion sensor by the base of the tv or on top of.....thanks!

It doesn't matter if you put it on top or the bottom. I prefer having it on top personally.

Also if you change from top to bottom or vice versa you need to adjust the tv settings on your Wii first.us

Exactly. Go to the Wii mote sensitivity screen and more the remote around if you see more than two IR dots then you are getting interference.

Also too what game are you playing because I know Dragon balls will tell you to sit closer.
