Play with the Mii a few times and it goes away.

I made Miis for everyone on my floor, now when they play each other we have to sit through the instructions unless I play with each one individually against the computer, which takes a whole lot of time.

Seems kinda gay. . .you playing with your dorm-mates and all; unless your the only guy on an co-ed floor
