Wii Sports Freezes

When I load Wii Sports in single player and press the 1 Players button it loads fine.
But when i load wii sports in multiplayer and press the 2 Players button it freezes and the music just carries on playing.
What shall i do, factory reset? If so how?

Check for scratches on the disk
OR
Send the Wii in for repair

make sure the disk is fine.......if it is and everything is good, then call and ***** at nintendo

Yea, its best to complain to Nintendo if it isn't a software issue. My buddy's Wii made a funny noise that it hadn't made before, he called up Nintendo and they had him send it in and get it fixed.

This happened to me before. I disconnected both wii remotes and reconnected them, and it worked fine afterwards. Just a bug with the wiimotes or something weird.
