I just recently bought a Nintendo Wii console on a holiday to Hong Kong.

I orignally live in Australia and when i brought it back i couldn't play the Australian games.

Is there anyway to change it?

It also is in Japanese and i have trouble changing it to English. In the language tool bar there is only one selection and that is Japanese.

Hope someone here can help me out about it.

Well there is nothing you can do about the console not being able to play Australian games. That's just the way the console was made.

Your console is a JAP console, only works with JAP games. In Australia I believe you will need a PAL console. Here in us we must use the NTSC console.

On every game you will see one of those codes, which tells you which region it is from and which consoles it will work with.

They call the consoles "region locked"

Hello friends.. a real rookie here looking for help in setting my games up.
Haven't done much reading , so I should start there... just hated to.
