Wiichat - After the Wii?

Ello all.

Most of you probably dont know me due to my lack of interest in the Lounge. But i was wondering if anyone knows whats going to become of Wiichat once the Wii is over. (A long time i know.)

Anyone have any ideas? Or do you just think itll go *poof*.

I was thinking a Nintendo-Based Chat forum.. or gaming chat forum.. Or stretched into a gaming site. The user-base will be bigger by then.

Eh, just a interesting topic i thought. Not sure if its been posted.

Well assuming that there would be another Nintendo Console coming out after the Wii I assume that this forum would convert into a discussion about that console and its upcoming games. However it's up to i0n really if he wants to keep this site going.

IMO thats like all gamming forums. think about it. dreamcast, saturn, play station one, sooner or later every system out there has come up with a newer generation than the one before.

the wii of course will have a new system. remember gamecube *duh*? that was the last console nintendo really made (minus upgraded and changed gameboys to what is now known as DS)

im sure this site wont go away nor will it "die" i think out there, there are still forums to all the systems out there. just not known to us.....but google if you got the time

I think that the current Wii Forums would all become dedicated to the new Nintendo console. The Wii would be added in the 'Other Gaming' Section. I also think we should have a handheld forum which could have the DS and PSP.
