most likely yes. i dont see microsoft changing the plug in for the harddrive just for a different country.
the only problem that i could see coming out of this is if you have an xbox already, and want to get the 120 gig HDD, you would have to "sinc" the hard drive to your console or get the cable from microsoft(not sure if they ship to uk) and transfer data from the 20 gig to the 120 gig.

I don't have an xbox, but am considering getting one. what about the memoy card thingy?

the memory i am sure would work. it plugs into the from of the xbox and microsoft would not spend extra money just to change the plug in for it.
and i am pretty sure that a memory card is for hauling around so you could use it on many different systems.

The only thing that differs between countries is the video standard. The hard-drive will work
