Will a US xbox 360 work on a UK tv?

I would like to import a US xbox 360 to the UK and I want to know whether it would work on a uk standard or hdtv?

i am sure that it will work with both tv's(elite version). but i think you have to buy an hdmi cable for the hdtv.

the only problem that i could forsee, is the power plugs.
your plugs look like this right? UK power plug
but ours look like this Us Power Plug

unless you get some type of converter, or get the power plug for a UK xbox then it will not work.

it will not work on either..in the UK their TV's are PAL..and in the states our TV's are NTSC..sorry
